GRP Fibreglass Topseal System
This flat roof extension was added on to the side of this property in Letcombe Bassett and built around the existing chimney. We tiled the sloping elevations using a clay tile to match the existing house.
A ‘Topseal’ fibreglass GRP system was used to cover the flat roof. This system is ideal when there is detail to get around on flat roofs as the GRP is a seamless system so there is no vulnerable areas to allow water ingress.
The GRP Topseal system comes with a 30 year materials guarantee. We have been using this system for over 15 years and the quality and ease of this product makes it a joy to work with and gives us every confidence in each job .
Guttering
Removal of old guttering and replacing in new plastic or cast iron guttering when working on listed buildings. We repair leaks, clean out and unblock gutters and water test for leaks. We offer a full repairing and maintenance plan.
Chimneys
Varied work to chimneys. Re-pointing of mortar and flaunching tops when perished. Chimney pots replaced and cowls inserted . Rebuilding of chimneys. Lead flashings replaced or cement fillets substituted in more durable lead sheeting.
Fascia & Soffit
Replacement of existing wooden fascias and soffits that has been perished by the elements over years with p.v.c usually the swish products because of the quality and durability that range offer. I also put new fascia & soffit on new builds, extensions etc.
Re-pointing
A service offered for chimneys, gable end walls which get a lot of weather from the elements. Any re-pointing to walls and buildings including stonework. This is a full service of raking out old joints and replacing pointing to make the structures weatherproof and also protect the fabric from further deterioration.
Roof Repairs
I will repair any type of roof if possible. I will replace a single tile, loose ridge tiles. Re-bed loose verge tiles. Replace missing and slipped slates. Areas of flat roofs temporarily repaired if possible. I can cover roofs in tarpaulins or other weatherproofing options if needed in an emergency.
Metal Sheet Roofing
These can replace asbestos sheets to garages as you can have the sheets cut to suit in length. They come in a box shape profile and varied in colour which is powder coated. They are good to put on barns where too much weight is an issue on the structure.
